Aruba Access Points

From high-performance 802.11n Wi-Fi to outdoor mesh to wired-only devices, Aruba access points serve as on-ramps that aggregate user traffic onto the enterprise network. Working in conjunction with Aruba controllers, access points are "thin" devices that need no configuration, no software updates, and no management.

In addition to providing network access, wireless access points provide RF monitoring services for wireless networks. Aruba offers a broad portfolio of APs featured and priced to address the needs of mobile enterprise networks, from large campuses to small branch offices:

  • Single and Dual Radio 802.11a/b/g/n
  • Wireless and Wired Networks
  • Indoor and Outdoor Usage
  • Telecommuter Deployments
  • Harsh Environment / Factory Floor Applications Mesh and Wireless Bridging Deployments

Aruba AP-120 Access Point Family

The AP-120 family of APs includes high-performance 802.11a/b/g and 802.11n Draft 2.0 access points that support 3x3 MIMO and operate from standard 802.3af Power over Ethernet. These APs are designed to fit cleanly into office environments, and provide wireless LAN access, air monitoring, spectrum analysis, and wireless intrusion detection and prevention.

Aruba AP-70 Dual-Radio, Multi-purpose 802.11 a/b/g Access Point

Ideally suited for advanced service delivery in mission-critical networks, the AP-70 includes dual-Ethernet ports and a USB port for 3G WAN backhaul (when configured as a Remote Access Point).

Aruba AP-65 - Dual-Radio 802.11a/b/g Access Point

The AP-65's self contained, low-profile design is ideally suited for office deployments and any area where a compact unobtrusive form factor is desirable.

Aruba AP-60 and AP-61 Single-Radio, Multi-Band (802.11a/b/g)

The AP-60 and AP-61 are ideal for dense AP deployments where only single-band coverage is desired. The AP-60 and AP-61 are also commonly deployed as an indoor mesh bridge.

Aruba AP-85FX/LX and AP-85TX Access Points

The AP-85 family of ruggedized APs are ideal for outdoor use and harsh environments. Equipped with dual high-power radios, the APs feature over-the-air configuration, low and high voltage power operations (including battery operation), and a weather-tight, wide-temperature design certified for use in hazardous environments.

Aruba Controllers

Aruba's family of controllers are purpose-built network infrastructure devices designed to address a wide range of wireless and wired network mobility, security, and remote networking requirements for enterprises of any size.

Running the ArubaOS operating system, the controllers support a number of different software applications - including policy enforcement firewall, VPN termination, and wireless intrusion prevention - for which competing suppliers require dedicated appliances. Controllers can secure wired networks using the same identity-based, high security scheme used for the wireless LAN, delivering a seamless user experience regardless of the medium used.

All controllers feature multi-processor architectures with separate control, network, and encryption processors.
