LXE NEMA 4 Enclosure

 The NEMA 4 Enclosure enables you to extend your 802.11 wireless local area networks (WLAN) into harsh indoor or outdoor environments. The NEMA 4 protects access points and wireless bridges from environmental hazards such as rain, snow, ice, hose spray, dust and wind-blown sand. The NEMA 4 can be configured to accept either an Ethernet connection or a wireless bridge. A wireless bridge allows you to effectively extend your LAN to outdoor locations that are not reached via Ethernet. The wireless bridge provides the backbone connection to a corresponding wireless bridge unit that has Ethernet access to the LAN. The NEMA 4 is designed for easy installation on either walls or light poles. Constructed entirely of noncorrosive components, the NEMA 4 is perfect for container ports and outdoor storage yards. The NEMA 4 enclosure is available in optional configurations that accommodate a variety of popular WLAN access points and wireless bridges. Optional heater allows operation of a wireless network in extreme cold, including food processing facilities and freezers.
